Part 3 of a five-part 2015 Mental Illness and Addiction Conversation Series in partnership with the Enoch Pratt Free Library, this event features those practiced in the art of opiate addiction recovery, and those who have been subject to different treatment modalities. Panelists include Dr. Robert P. Schwartz, Medical Director of Friends Research Institute; Dr. Yngvild Olsen, Medical Director of the Institutes for Behavior Resources Inc/REACH Health Services; Sam Bierman, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Maryland Addiction Recovery Center; Carlos Hardy, Founder and Executive Director of M-ROCC; and others in recovery from opiate addiction. Conversation moderated by Peter Bruun, founder and director of the New Day Campaign. The event closes with a mindfulness experience led by the Holistic Life Foundation.
