Experiencing Expressive Arts Therapies

In conjunction with the exhibition Art. Therapy. and part of the Healing Experiences Series, this event offers information and experiences for better understanding the spectrum of expressive arts therapies that include art, movement, music, and psychodrama, and how they work as powerful clinical tools. An interactive program follows a reception and exhibition viewing from 5:30 to 6:00pm. Featured presenters are: Yehuda Bergman, Phd. R.D.T, an Expressive and trauma therapist in private practice in Baltimore, and senior supervisor and lecturer at The institute for Advanced Psychotherapy Training and Education for Trauma Therapists; Jordan Goodman, a licensed counselor and professional musician who uses rhythm to create meaningful results; Meghan Dempsey MS, LCAT, BC-DMT, NCC, CMA owns Meghan Dempsey LLC, a holistic health and wellness company in Annapolis, where she offers dance/movement psychotherapy, authentic movement and ZUMBA; and Peggy Kolodny, a Board Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Clinical Professional Art Therapist (ATR-BC LCPAT) of the Art Therapy Collective of Owing Mills, and co-curator for Art. Therapy.
